About This Blog

I started this blog because I’ve spent my life torn between two extremes, and have consequently been forced to understand that there is always a different perspective. There is always the other side to a story, a different way of seeing something, and most importantly, always room for understanding.

Every blog entry on this site is my opinion on some topic I’ve been inspired to write. Almost every entry is written to or for someone, and hardly ever because they asked for it. I’m a very opinionated person, but I’ve learned that often times you shouldn’t give your opinion to someone unless they ask for it, because they don’t want to hear it. So, this is my space to write about every opinion I have without forcing a single person to read any of them. When it’s your choice to listen, you’re more receptive and open to learning.

I’m aware that there are about a bajillion plus blogs out there, and the only way I can say I try to distinguish mine from all the rest is because almost every opinion I present, I try to back up with research and facts. You’ll hardly ever just get my own thoughts. Personally, I think my opinion doesn’t matter at all, which is why I find it important to research things I find important, or whatever idea I’m passionate about. If I can’t inspire, influence, or change your mind, I can hopefully at least teach you something new.

Lastly, I write from inspiration and find pleasure in learning about each new topic I write about. My passion can be easily incited, especially if it means I get to write about it. My ultimate goal is to help people by opening their minds and hearts to a new perspective and understanding of something. I want to teach people about themselves and others, which is why most of my blogs are written for a specific unknowing person. So if you ever wonder, “Why did she write about that?” it’s probably because I knew someone who needed to hear what I had to say. I also know that we all go through the same things, so what helps one person can help countless others.

I want to encourage love for yourself and others, an understanding of why you are the way you are and why things happen in your life, as well as in the lives of people you know. I want to encourage a different way of thinking and a new approach to understanding things you didn’t before. I hope that my words can help you learn, grow, and love.
